Pure Savagefaction

I was out cruising the other day when I checked my rear view only to see our arch nemesis the Harleybot. He was crusing in my lane and when I switched lanes so would he. I said to my self you should show this Harleybot what Savagetron is all about so I gassed her and before I knew it I had passed 3 cars and was riding about 73 in a 55 zone. They guy was nowhere to be found until I stopped at a redlight. He pulled up beside me and said "Man that sure is a nice bike" I said thanks yours too just to be civil  Wink. I then proceeded to pull off yet again just me and my Savagebot. Yet another victory for Savatrons everywhere! I guess I watched to much Transformers growing up.

I wouldn't sweat it. By our bikes being smaller than some others that only makes it more agile and curve bending friendly.  Cool

Recently went to a fund raising Show n' Shine hosted by a local MC ... was rolling thru the gate with a few other Bikes (a Trump Speedmaster, BMW R1200C, a 'Zuki M50 ...) when one of the patch-wearin' MC'ers looked at me on my 'lil white S40, gives the thumbs-up and sez, "Nice bike ya got there!" ... my Euro-Ridin' pals where right there and were noticably miffed that my Bike got the attention and theirs ignored! LOL!! Cool

Before you diagnose yourself with depression or low self-esteem, first make sure you are not, in fact, just surrounded by arseholes!

See now, I'm just the opposite. I like it when I hear the phrase "Nice little bike you got there." I like that you don't need to have a half ton of metal and plastic to run with the big boys if you feel like it. And I know for a fact the Hawgs and Wings are never going to get to a lot of the places I go to. Dirt roads and stream crossings don't seem to bother the Savage if that's where I want to go take pictures or camp for the night. And it still shines up okay if need be.

Isn't this a standard practice?   When following another biker, even if you don't know them,  try to stay together to "look" bigger.   Huh  Actually staggered in the lane too, not single file.....

Yes I suppose it is T Mack1 but I was simply trying to narrate the story and make it more interesting thanks for the buzz kill. Undecided

When I was at Sturgis I got nothing but good things said about my bike. Tons of ppl were asking questions about it. I have found its a pretty well excepted bike among all kinds of riders.
