Given that the 6500 redline is at 35mph in 1st, 1000-1200 rpm would be 6mph, give or take a 0.5. Of course this depends on what gearbox you have, chain conversion, tire size, speedometer calibration, plus the engine would still be doing work even on flat ground from rolling resistance. Not exactly "the Best DIAGNOSTIC Tach for Our Bikes".
Easier to record the sound of the exhaust and throw it in a audio editing program that shows the waveform:

sensor and put something that closes the circuit when it detects the charge in the spark wire. ...I guess that's what the ENM does already.
