Removing pillion seat?
08/11/08 at 18:30:35

Huh  Has anyone ever removed the pillion seat? I'd like to get rid of mine, as well as the sissy bar (2003 LS650), but there is some wiring there, so I'd have to put SOMETHING there, if only to protect the wiring from the elements. I just don't know what.

Any thoughts?

Mike

The rectifier can be mounted on the fender just above the swing arm I think.
And I think one has mounted it on front of the battery box or the side.

Wiring can be routed under the fender, but I'd put it in a tube along the side.

Mike,
I've been thinking about getting a sissybar.
I have an '08 W/O sissybar. Would you be interested in swapping rails, and what would you want for the sissybar? The rails are pretty much a direct swap.
