S40 Headlight Rattle

Recently purchased a new (leftover) 07 S40. It's a great bike and I'm really enjoying it except for one thing..the headlight rattles so much I can't even hear the engine over the racket! I tried tightening the screw on the bezel but that didn't work. Any ideas what would quiet this down?
Thanks!

I opened the bezel, and lined the inside of it with electrical tape where it made contact, then put it back on. Worked like a champ.

Search this site under "all posts". This has apparently been a very common problem, with a good many fixes recroded. One of tehm is bound to work for you.

In the tech section, the fix by oldfeller is the best IMHO. I've done that one and his speedo rattle fix. The old man seems to know his stuff.

Are you sure it's the headlight, and not the speedometer?
When you're driving along, put your hand on top of the speedometer and see if it stops the rattle. There are pretty well documented fixes for this too, under the Tech section.

Simon's got a good point. I had both rattles, but the speedo rattle was WAY louder than the headlight rattle.
