Cutting the glare

A little mod to cut the glare from the headlight crome.
Got this Otterbox 9000.

Exterior Dimensions:
3.354" x 4.542" x 7.663"

Interior Dimensions:
1.824" x 2.709" x 6.930"

How to mount it.
I'm a toolmaker and sometimes I get the chance to make something for myself!  Clamp made out of Aluminum. Painted black.

Four ss 1/4-20 Allen cap screws

Mounting the clamp to the OtterBox.   Two 5/16-18 Allen button head and 2 fender washers.

Mounted to Suzuki  The OtterBox 9000 has a place to put a lock.  I decided to use a cable Master Lock (Luggage Lock) to keep someone from just grabing the lock to break it.

And all of that nice storage for sunglassed (No more changing pockets for whatecer coat I wear), pens, grease pencil, pen light... etc Grin

A very nice idea, and nicely done as well.  Do they make those boxes in larger sizes and different shapes?  I'm brewing an idea, but have been hampered because all the boxes I've found are top-opening, instead of end-opening like yours.

I don't know about using that to cut the headlight glare, but as a quick/easy access box for cell phones (or my McGoofy of course) that looks like a slick idea indeed.
