Pic's of new add-on's

I know the following add-on's are nothing new or special but i'm proud of my bike and wanted to showcase it with it's new sissy bar, luggage rack, (non-functional) engine guard and windshield.

Why is the rack non-functional?  Can't figure out where to put the batteries?

I'll be interested in your take on that windshield.  I can't remember if you are a tall guy, but I'm in the market for a success story on positioning those small shields so they don't baffle one's eardrums.  Mine is about one headache from landing in the ditch somewhere.

Bike is looking really sharp!  Kay has her eye on an '06 that is that color, I think.  I'll have to get her in here to ogle yours and see what she thinks.

My windshield and 07 sissybar will be here tomorrow via UPS. Smiley

Looks great though, I can't wait to get them both mounted.

Sandy - pretty sure he meant the non-functional engine guard, not the rack.

That paint job!!  Details, please.  I'm assembling a set of tin and that would be a great color choice.

Looks like the factory silver/blue color.

I want to know where you got the Suzuki Superman sticker.

WoW!  Thanks guy's for ALL of your positive feedback!
Sandy:  i'm 5'11 and so far the windshield works well, its not great coverage but much better than none at all.  I've been up to 75mph with it and it protects pretty well.  It pushed the wind right to the top of my helmet.  Would be nice if it was a bit wider.

The paint color (metalic grey) is stock from Suzuki, not sure what the color code is but it looks nice when the sun shines on it.

TMack:  The sticker I got from a local auto sign shop, they had it on their computer software so I had it printed up in metallic blue vinyl.

My wife is complaining that i'm spending too much time with my bike, I wipe the bike down after every use so I find myself out in the driveway caressing the bike too much.   Wink  lol

Thanks again!

That seems to be a common theme.  My girlfriend says she "looses" me every sunday, 'cause I start tinkering on ol' thumper.....

I simply respond, "Just wait 'till football starts up again!"   Grin

I'm sure we are not alone on this topic.  I'm sure there are a lot of wives and girlfriends feeling the same way.   Tongue

Your bike looks great. Mine is a silver '08. I added the same Suzuki windshield this summer to my S40 and really like it. It cuts down on the wind enough to make my ride more comfortable but not so much that I forget I am out in the open air.
