Oil Change
08/03/08 at 10:48:44

I've e-mailed Savage Bob twice about this but no replies.  I have no manual for my '06 S40.  The dealer says he can't find it.  I want to know where I can find the post on changing oil/filter.  Help please. Embarrassed

Ohh that was harsh, but it does seem like many new users don't do much looking over the forums before posting a question that has been answered many time before.  I just got my password for the USCA (sidecar folks) site and I have read all the forums to try not to make the same blunder. Max

You're OK Beezer. Somewhere in this forum is a post for downloading the manual as well. Hang in there. I know the frustration of needing the info "right now!", and knowing these guys know exactly where it is. They're encyclopedias, man! But they do like their fun. Good hunting.
Oh, when you do a search, be sure to expand the seach to "all posts". The default is like a week or two.

Thank you all. I've downloaded the manual.  I actually owned one of these little beasts when they 1st came out in 1996 I think it was.  I've been riding for about 50 years.  Last year I sold my 2004 Triumph Speedmaster and2 weeks ago I sold my 2006 Suzuki 1200 S Bandit and bought this 2006 S40 with 1200 kms (7400 mi.)  Now I'm having fun again.  Smiley  Again, thank you all - even the white cane guy.

Did I say 1996?  Actually I think it was 1986.  At my age a decade more or less doesn't seem to be a big deal anymore.
