Rear suspension ???
07/25/08 at 19:07:48

Ok, I have a manual, but can't find anything on adjusting the rear suspension. Neither that, or this site. How do I adjust the rear suspension? I know I can, I just want to make sure I do it right. I'm 155lbs so what setting would you recommend for me?
Thanks you all

If you have the stock shocks there will be a whole in the bottom chrome sleeve. I used a small screw driver. Hope I get this right from memory. Clock wise up when you get to the top the next click drops it to one again. As far as what setting you want I would start with one and if it does not hit bottom your ok. Then you will have lots of room to go up if you pack a lot of gear or a passenger.

Passenger side, move the hole from rear of bike to front to make it stiffer. Other side? Other way..

I had to lift the bike while my son turned the shocks.  They were a little on the stuck side.  But then mine are twenty years old.

Wow thanks guys. that seems just too easy. when they said, "turn it with a screwdriver" I thought it meant stick it in the hole and twist like turning a screw. haha, oh well. what a simple design. I love this bike Grin
