Hey guys no tool kit came with the bike..  so how deep is the plug socket and what mm. is it thanks...  Smiley

You can have the right size in hand & STILL not get the plug out. It takes a real thin walled socket. Size? Its the smaller spark plug, same as all, 2 sizes, is it 5/8ths & 3/4ths?

Thanks for sturring my furtile mind guys.  After reading this thread and being reminded again that the space for a socket is extremely limited, I am going to enlarge the area before the head goes back on the engine.  That way I can use the socket of my choice the next time ai need to get in there.

When I first got the "old Girl", I didn't have the tool kit for the bike...I still don't.  So I went to Sears and got a thin-walled 18mm socket.  It works well with my 3/8 in drive.
