hey gang just purchased a 1987 ls650 would like to change exhaust and people tell me that i must re-jet carb? Duno how to start? i have access to a stock harley pipe is this good? thanks in advance and am lookin forward to jawwin with yall

Lots of folks are running HD pipes. I have a screamin' eagle slash cut on mine. Some people like the Dyna slip ons, or a Jardine. Go to the tech section, look for "Savage Sounds" under Carbs, Jetting, and Exhaust.

I think the Dyna is a good looking muffler, but I went with the Supertrapp, pricey, but tuneable.

I've got a Dyna sitting in my basement waiting for an install day... I've also got a cone filter, jet-set, and supplies to fix that darned speedometer rattle!
