Did it get rained on a bunch?  Mine like to stop working (or sometimes flash once then stop) if it sits out in a rain storm.  My current theory is water gets into the switch housing and pools there.  I got that theory after an intense storm hit (the one that kicked off the flooding in the midwest a couple months ago) and not only did the signals not blink, the starter came on randomly whenever the clutch was pulled in.  Shocked

I would hit the emergency flashers & see if anything happens. Not sure what you will learn from it, have to look at a wiring diagram & see IF it will help at all. If you take the switch apart, be sure to clean the floor first, so if any tiny bits hit, you can find them. Cover the tank with something, so if you fumble any tools, it wont get a ding. While in there, clean & coat with dielectric grease.

Also check for dirty / corroded connections in all the blinker circuitry.   Including the flasher.
