Timing chain again.

Ok guys I have 17000 on my bike now and I'm thinking of the timing chain,is it the chain or the chain tentioner that is changed out? or both.
I'm not getting any ugly noises but I will be making my bucket run next year that will be 2500 miles, would you change it? of wait for the noise? if it ain't broke etc etc

you have enough mileage to at least have a look, take a peak and measure how far the tensioner is out. i only replaced the chain. and the gasket.

Somewhere between now and 30k you will need to do something.

If you've never looked at it, you can't even guess when.

Take a look and report back with mileage and plunger extention and I'll put it in the chart.
