Interesting wrenches from Craftsman

Craftsman is offering a neat set of ratcheting wrenches. With two wrenches, you get 8 possible combinations. Depending on which side of the tool you use, a different size is available (two sizes per end). This really cuts down on the number of tools you need to carry plus they are on sale for $19.99 and have the traditional life-time warranty.

I have always been a bit of an "Efficiency" bug. I like to see how many things I can get done quickly & how much stuff I can store neatly in a given space. THIS is an Opportunity to really excel in efficiency of another sort. By losing just ONE wrench, I can be stuck on 4 sizes of threaded connector!! Thats some kinda deal there! I could dig having those.

Too bad the sizes aren't better selected. No 14 mm, and the 13, 16, and 18 mm aren't used on the Savage. I'd say, for my uses, the set is worthless. Quite aside from which open-end wrenches are useful when you can't get a box-end wrench over the nut, or get a straight shot at the nut.
