Hello, I was just wondering what your personal mileage per tanks were averaging???  I seem to be getting about 110 miles per tank, is this about the same for everyone else???

I go as low as 98 and as high as 140 per tank.  It depends on the temps, the quality of the gas, the speed at which I ride and if I'm riding in alot of hills or on relatively flat ground.

Lately, 120 miles before I reach down for the petc0ck - I've been coasting a lot lately (gas=$4.40 a gallon).

When I'm accelerating from stoplight to stoplight it begins to sputter at 80 miles.

My rides are mostly in town and the "summer mix" gas in Illinois is really crappy. May thru August we have to use gas with an ozone reducing additive - it's more expensinve and inefficient.

I haven't hit reserve yet.  I fill up every 100 miles, as the odo hits an even 100 mile increment.  There's a good gas station a mile from my home, so I have no trouble waiting till it hits every 100 miles.

Last fill up was 57.55 mpg.

I don't have a reserve anymore.  I try to fill up every 115 miles or so, and get about 55-58 mpg with current mods.

110 to hit reserve (like clock work) I'm getting about 48-50 MPG,   almost all city driving... varies by depending on the fun factor.

Took an hour and a half ride and got 54 mpg.

Got about 125 miles out of the tank today when I had to switch to reserve.  Checked my tank before I left work, looked like I had enough to make it home, got about halfway and had to make the switch on the fly at about 65mph.  He He  I figured that out real quick.  Decided I didn't feel like pushing it home, so I got gas within 2 miles of making the switch.  And yes, I remembered to switch it back.  When I'm just riding to work, I fill up every 3rd trip, works out to be about 115 miles more or less.   I LOVE THIS BIKE!!!!  I had one of my best rides today.   SWEET!!!!

I'm averaging 55mpg US. I switch to reserve at about the 90 mile mark, just to drain some of the gas from the "bottom" of the tank. I usually fill up about every 100 miles, so I rarely need to go to reserve.

I dont actually know how much I'll get before I hit reserve because I've only had to once. I generally fill up at the 100 mi mark no matter what. The one time I hit reserve I had filled up at the 80 mi mark(ex 10580mi as opposed to 10600) so when it finally started acting funny I didnt even think that i was near reserve. I cursed assuming my clutch was slipping badly all of a sudden. That all started at about the 90 mi mark (didnt think to take note of it) so i geuss 100-110. doin the math I get between 45-55mpg in a hilly area doing lots of 65+ mph runs.

My old '87 gets about 120 per tank. And I run on RES all the time, too. I ran her dry twice now, not paying attention. Both times within 2 blocks of gas station. Also, I'm in Wisconsin, near lake Michigan, and we have the same crappy "summer blend" as in Illinois. I should mention I'm running very lean right now due to stripped mixture screw.

I don't really pay much attention to how far I go on a tank, I just fill up as soon as possible after switching to reserve.  Yesterday though I switched to reserve on my way to work and mentally noted the odo reading and ran out of gas on my way home after 48km running on reserve mostly at 80km/h.  Lucky I was riding with a coworker and we were less than two blocks to his house.

So 48km is my reserve limit.
