this is what i am trying to do. in other words, just edit what came with the bike in stock form.

just change one thing... the airbox/carb/exhaust system. [/quote]

Cool...but show me how to do that with little or no money WinkI would like a great sounding muffler! Or are you saying change the one that's already on there somehow?  Undecided

A 40 pound bag of salt in your fork bag would help

The chrome belt guard does nothing for me.
I took it off.  Problem solved.

Oh, definately the seat.
How about an invisible cage protection forcefield? Car hits the forcefield and gets its fender crumpled, biker unharmed. Grin

The big problem I see is spoke wheels and innertubes,so much better with cast wheels and tubless tires, last week was a case in point.I had a very small nail hole in my rear tire, took the wheel off and took it to town, there are three big tire outfits including "The Tire Factory" not one of them could do the job,in the end I did it myself,it would not have been so easy if it had happened a ways from home.

why the hell couldnt they? It isnt hard really, just tedious. Wheel off, tire off, tube out, patch/replace tube, tube in, tire on, wheel on. Sounds like they were all just too freakin lazy. If they cant plug it they "can't" fix it. Seriously though...tubeless tires would be a blessing.

I'd like to move the rear shock mount as it gets in the way of the air filter.

Were these big tire outfits for automotive tires?  Motorcycle wheels do not fit on the automobile tire changing machines.

And, in my opinion, cast wheels are fugly.
