No the Stealership was wrong.  That is NOT what these bikes do.  Typical excuse for when they have no idea what's going on.  Where are you located ... far North?  They are generally unhappy in very cold climates and you'll find several posts on that subject.

I don't live in a very cold climate, but I had a problem with the lunging too.  It was due to my spark plug.  They are cold-natured bikes so they do require some time to warm up, but 10 minutes should be plenty!  I would check the spark plug.

Mine did the same thing until I did the white spacer mod and then adjusted the A/F settings on the carb.  Everything you ever want to know about carb tuning is located in the Technical/Reference thread.  Great info!

The stealershipd isn't wrong.  Bone stock, the bike is REAL cold blooded.  It's running just how it was intended to run when it left the factory.

you mean with it all the way out or half
Huh but its warm enough here that it don't need hardly any chocking to get it running if the choke is out after it fires you have to push the choke in or it wont start

You will have to pull the brass plug.

Go to the tech/reference section.  They have all the answers to all of your questions AND they even have pictures for you to reference!  Great stuff!
