Will Savage seat fit the S40? (Read 81 times)

Does anyone know if a two piece Savage seat will fit on the S40, which uses the one piece unit. There seem to be plenty of the Savage seats available, unlike the S40 seat, which seem s to be harder to find. Thanks all, Jay

I know it fits the other way Cheesy

You may have to drill a hole for the mount on the rear seat cushion. It hooks on a bar/loop towards the rear (not sure f it's on the S40 fender) and then bolts down just under the front seat. Bikes with the 2-piece have a nut spot welded to the fender there, and have a square'ish loop in front tof the sissy bar and just under the end of the seat.

Engineers design things, Technicians make them work.
