trouble shifting with new floor boards

I just put some universal floorboards on my 02 savage and now im having trouble shifting. does anyone know how to adjust the shifter or extend it out?

I dont remember how to tell you....but,if you do a search on floorboards there is a recent topic and someone explains it really well!
