At walmart they have stanely sockets for like 20ish bucks. They are long and thin enough to reach just fine, at least on my 05. I hope this helps.

After reading about all the confusion around the spark plug socket for this bike, I just sucked it up, went to the dealer, and bought the one they recommended. It was money well spent. Just keep it under lock and key so your son doesn't try to hammer it into an arrowhead or something.

Which reminds me... Anyone know how to unhammer a fourteen-old? I might need to do some straightening on one soon. At least my tools will be safe for awhile, though. Wink
