solo seat w luggage rack ?

Hello all... just starting to dress up my '95 savage and since I am a new rider one of the first things I want to do is take off my rear seat & backrest and replace with a nice contoured rear fender luggage rack.
I have found a couple different styles.
One is made for a soft-tail --

One for a sportster...

can anyone help?

First, take off your seats and look at whats under there. Then start to look at where you can move the voltage regualtor and wiring to the barke light. Once you have that figured out, then take measurements. Then start shopping.
EDIT: Oops forgot to add, front seat comes off with two 10mm bolts, one each side. Rear seat comes off with the one bolt under the front seat.

Yep yep yep. I'm going to paint the tins off the parts bike and swap them onto my bike. Trying to think of a color scheme that goes with my original purple, just because I don't want to mess with that hellacious circuit board they call a rear fender. It looks to me like just filling all the bolt holes in it would cause Bondo stock to jump 12 points.

I've done a couple and be sure and look at the pictures of Greg's with a old Honda Cub 50 rack. Look at the picture of the bike Savage Wahini is going to ride from Moses Lake to Philipsburg and around. I used the bottom parts of the sissy bar with a oeice f bar stock welded to it for the back rack support and cantilivered mine using bar stock resting on the rubber pads off the rear pillion, B-i-L's we used some old rack brackets I had left over from my hard bag install and went to the two front bolts on the side rails. Greg's is bolted direct to the fender as I recollect and looks really kewl. Max

I may be interested in the sissybar and chrome side fender rails if you're getting rid of them?
