The factory owner's manual that came with my 2007 S40 still says LS650 on the front. It would appear they didn't change much. About the only thing you'll notice is the one-piece seat on the S40 instead of the two-piece one; the lack of the little sissy bar, and the cosmetic changes (black cylinder, badging). Seems to me as if they changed the motorcycle, but didn't bother to change the manual.

Don't forget drag bars instead of pullbacks
