I finally got my Savage running to perfection. Today was my first time on a real ride. And i have to tell you guys... IT WAS AMAZING.  I felt like a kid again when i got my first pedal bike, or like i was 16 driving my first car.  When i got to work, I was on cloud 9.  I can't wait for the ride home!!!!  
Thanks to everyone who helped me in figuring out my issues. It ended up just needing that white spacer removed on the jet needle. It was like a new bike after that. The 155 main jet and 55 pilot jet seem to be doing great. No backfiring at all, going up or down in RPM's.
