Clicking sound when turning handlebars
06/13/08 at 22:33:40

Just got the S40 (2007) and noticed yesterday that when I turn the handlebars all the way to the left or to the right, I hear this click.  the engine is off.  I think it's coming from the forks - maybe those plastic things on each fork - I don't know.

I didn't get a manual so I don't know if this is normal or not.  There are no problems riding the bike.  Maybe it's always been there but I never noticed.  I just got it Wednesday.  I was messing around with the lock - couldn't get it to work right away.   Do you think this has anything to do with it?  Should I worry about it? Undecided

My savage will clunk when I hit the front brake... loose head bearing.

Maybe that's what yours is.
