North Texas Savages
06/11/08 at 01:55:14

I was caging in the Colleyville area the other day, and swear I saw a canary yellow Savage somewhere in Colleyville or Hurst. I know from the boards there are several Savages in the N. Texas area.
SOUND OFF! May be we can get together for a ride some time. It'd be too cool to have a group get together.
Ride safe,

Kropatchek, I would love to get to your part of the world. Scenery is beautiful, and Sweden would be close by. I could get some snus that would be oh so fresh. Mmmm snus Cheesy Oops, wrong site, we talk about Savages here.

There's got to be more of us in North Texas. C'mon guys, where ya at?

YonuhAdisi,
You bet it counts. I used to live in Lubbock. Still have a duaghter there going to Tech. Love NM. Used to vacation in Ruidoso and Cloudcroft all the time. Next time I head that way to visit here, maybe we could get together for a ride.

Sounds like a plan to me Jay. Maybe you'll be the first on the site to see the FireLizard in person in all it's glory with girder front end and Road King tank.

Another Frisco'ite here. I just got mine a few days ago, a '96. It's getting tuned up and detailed now. Seat was shot, gonna look into getting it re-upholstered or doing an after market seat.

Hello all, this is my first post.  I've been lurking around for a while and this thread got my attention.

I own a 1998 Savage (one owner) and live in the HEB area.  I'll get a pic of my bike up in the next week or two when she's all shined up and purdy enough to show off.
Grin

I have seen a couple of savages around the N. Texas area recently.  I saw a red one over on 157/Industrial Blvd a couple weeks ago in Euless, and I keep seeing a black one with the white lining on the tank on Hwy. 10 most afternoons.   I always think it's cool to see one of "the few" and I always do a double-take.

This looks like a GREAT forum and I'm looking forward to being part of the community here.

I do have one question... What's up with the bloody-nosed guy on the homepage?  Is that some kind of inside joke?
Shocked

Anyway, hopefully I'll be out shining up the bike this coming week and getting some pics up for you all to see. I've not done much customization work on mine, other than a Harley tailpipe and some Willie & Max bags.  I really love my Savage.  They are great bikes.
