Rear Tire Size?

Hey all i need a new rear tire which i believe my savage still has the stock tire on it currently has 140-80-15 IRC now my question is i want a little wider rear tire that will mount up with no modifications what size tire would i need i keep seeing a 140-90-15 is that wider or taller ? sorry i am not real familar with tire sizes for motorcycles .

That would be taller. the first number is the width the second is the percentage of the side wall to the width.
