I always filled on the even 100 mile marks or as close after as possible. only went to reserve a couple of times because I had to (I used to switch to reserve and run for a few miles every month just because - and to run off the bottom of the tank and to make sure everything was working OK).

Lancer makes a great point. I was considering a bigger bike and actually, believe it or not, thought about the decision. This bike is great for the majority of my riding. Why add the extra weight and cost and other disadvantages of a larger bike? I'm keeping the bike and darn happy I came to this decision. Some may not agree but it's seems most folks think bigger is better.
If we ever meet don't share this revelation with my wife. I almost had convinced I needed/desired a bigger bike.
