* The stock seat exchange to gel, a small riser, and with a new sheepskin pad now!  Smiley

* The saddlebags. Although not what I ultimately want, they are used daily, so I am good for now.  BTW - I have stuck my ballet tutu in the saddlebag, so my next set has to be able to fit that too!

* The elkhide hand grips - warmer than the stock in winter, cool in summer, and just enough bigger in diameter to be more comfortable. Hmmm...Sluggo, dont say a word about this text!! Shocked

The ability to keep tinkering even on a limited budget and time schedule (work sure does get in the way of my MC time!!)

My seat.  Definitely my seat.  Or my trip meter.  Or the XM radio.  Maybe the brighter headlight...    Nope, it's the seat.

Trip meter? How?

I've gotta admit, I'm not much for mods to the bike, but I did mount a garage door opener to the handle bars.  Does that count?   Grin
And I got some aftermarket foot pegs.  They were for a harley, but I took them to my brother's machine shop and drilled out the male mounts to fit a metric.  For $20 they fit way better than the $200 Kuryakyns that were on it when I bought it.

I think the next mod I will do will be to slot the oil drain plug so I can drizzle oil out easily when I overfill. My measuring cup, which is a plastic mixing funnel, is OFF. I did a pint, 4 times & it was over by several ounces.

OHH, yea, I like the rear brake mod, Big Time. I can romp on it pretty good before it locks.

Used an angle grinder & cut 4 slots across each shoe, & tapered the leading edge, eliminating near 1/2 of the shoe/drum contact area. I also adjusted the pedal so it was a bit of a push before it would grab all the way, so the first "Thought" about slowing down doesnt make the rear tire slide.

Oh.  I see.  I hadn't heard about that one, but so far I haven't had any trouble with the brakes.  Other than the hideous screech from the front one.  It works better than the horn for gettng attention.

As far as I know, I am the only one who has done it. I kept locking the rear & decided I needed to do something.
