My wife's bike caught fire!!!

new paint job finally finished. Rattle caned the tank, wet sand, buff, and flame decals. You'd be surprised what you can do with rattle cans and some patience.

it's seeped gas out the bowl seam b4, so maybe if it did that and did the shut off cannon at the same time......
This kind of fire is more friendly for sure.

That is so coool,, Patience, I have. But, I just dont "think" in terms of paint. There are things I do that Ive never known anyone else to do, but I cant paint, or dance. I no longer sweat it. I just appreciate seeing others talents. Ya done good!

not OEM quality decal material and coloring. Compared to restoration stripes and a local vinyl dye cut guy, these are a step down. Will do fine for my wife's bike as it's a pleasure cruiser. If you ride yours daily and in the rain, these may not hold up, based on my initial impressions handling the materials.

Now, all ya gotta do tyo have it looking great is ditch that hunk of chrome muffler & strap something nice looking on. If spending $$ & hunting performance isnt your thing, a dyna muffler is ( IMO) better looking than a Supertrapp. I have the TRapp & as a utilitarian device, I like it a lot, but the dyna muff is prettier,

I'd want to talk to the decal manufacturer before I cleared over it, to make sure there's no compatibility issues. Also, using spray paint, the coats are much thinner, so wetsanding and buffing the clear would have been a little tricky. Hard to build up enough clear to have a safe, even coat thickness above the tank and decals and not burn through it on the decals.

muffler....if I found one for free I might put it on, but my wife does not want it to be loud. She doesn't care about performance at all, it runs fast enough for her.
