Search by default goes only one week back.
Took me a while to figure out why I could not find things that
I knew were there... I am sure you will have better results if you select one year back in search options.

  I guess everybody has difference taste I thought it was cool when they stopped putting fork boots on bikes.

Got the correct threads and links. ErminM, you were right, I wasn't going back far enough, and that was the cause of my frustration.

bill67, I too prefer the look of the exposed metal on most bikes, but I think the Savage pulls off the fork boot look pretty well. I also hate replacing fork seals. As this is a new bike, I want to be preemptive and get that taken care of before it becomes an issue.

Thanks for the hook up. Found Hutch's original post and got my info ready (with the correct sizes) to give to the wife so she can "surprise" me with 'em on my b-day.

serowbot, thanks for the link, but alot of people have said that size wears out too quickly, as it's a little large for the Savage. Glad to hear yours is working out OK. I will be ordering from Dennis Kirk, but will get the F00083 instead of the F00058.
