hey just wondering if anyone has removed the whole sissy bar from the older savages. it looks like the bar is just bolted in but there are also some welds beside it...has anyone succesfully removed it?..instructions?

I removed it but in order to have it look right you need to get fender struts from a newer S40.  The older struts bend upwards where the sissy bar connects, the newer ones do not.
