I doubt that the plate is legal, but neither is the mirrors or non DOT lights or Jardine pipe. That is part of the Bobber charm.

I have never had a problem with police and if it is an issue, I can always place the plate on top with the web design being seen the other direction.

Plate holder can go either side, this was made for the left.
