Cussing the air box
05/01/08 at 19:15:31

I found in the archives that the air box can be a pain the the butt to take off. I'm learning this for myself as we speak....

I've dremeled mine in half but still couldn't get the bugger off. I just now read that somewhere in the bottom is a screw.

I went back out to the garage but didn't find it.

*Does it attach to the frame?

*Do you have to take the belt guard off in order to get to this last bolt / screw?

*Is it located inside the airbox itself?

I just don't see it yet and I know something is still holding my pint sized box on.........

Any suggestions would be grateful. I'm calling it quits tonight and will try again tomorrow evening....

My bike is stripped down to just frame and airbox at the moment.  I'll post some photos of the attachment locations when I get home (in about 8 hours).
