There is a backrest for a V-Star 1100 that bolts to the fender between the driver and passenger seat. Think this could work on the Savage?

Might work if you have a two piece seat. Depends on how thick the pad is and the angle of the bracket.
Sit on your bike and have the better hafl take a picture. That way you have something to reference & visualize before you spend $.
