Yes, LANCER can help. Have you ever heard a Savage without a muffler?

If you don't have grumpy neighbors now, you might end up with some. They are loud and obnoxious with a straight pipe. Max

Do you have to re-jet for the HD sporty muffler mod?

Everytime you change the exhaust system just ASSUME that you will need to rejet.
Are you sure you want a straight through pipe?  If you are thinking drag pipe, you will loose power compared to any decent flowing muffler.  If you want a big sound with performance then you should look for some of the discounted mufflers on ebay.  There are a lot of of them right now, and some as low as $50/pair for new sets.

i just went from a hollowed out stock pipe to a hd muffler... and i can tell you i lost A LOT of power.. the bike feels like a slug.

i would say yes you will have to rejet.

if you do straight pipes then put one of these on to keep the backpressure and such

itll be loud.. but that gnarly loud sounds crappity smackin sweet.

i miss that gnarly loud that turns heads.
