Need info for shop carb work (Read 56 times)

saratovich Junior Member Offline Posts: 58	Need info for shop carb work 04/15/08 at 09:54:14 Carb gas leak is going to be repaired in a small shop by a very experienced (35 years) certified motorcycle mechanic. I'm going to have him uncover the idle screw and shave the white spacer (1/2?) while the carb is apart. Does this sound OK? Anything else I should consider? I have a stock airbox and exhaust. Thanks in advance

It's a bit quicker too, so the shop may like that idea better.

Outside of that and the standard cleaning you should be all set. May want to look at the O and E rings and replace them if they have little cracks.
