Does anyone know where i can get a heavier duty clutch?  mine is starting to slip, probably the springs but if im going to be in there i might as well replace it all.

I'm not sure there is a heavier duty clutch for the Savage but there are heavier duty springs from a couple of manufacturers.  I got a set of Barnett springs from Lancer and replaced 'em while I was installing the VerSlavy modded cam chain tensioner.  The plates looked okay though I didn't remove and mic them.  The new springs made a definite difference.  I'd suggest you PM Lancer and ask about new clutch springs.
