The little LS650 tends to get squirrelly pretty easily at speed. That was the biggest thing that scared me when I did my one real speed run on my Zook. Well, other than the chance of meeting a trooper in the other lane.
Touched the ton on my BMW K75 the other day. Never again. She ain't got much in the way of brakes (then again, none of them do!) and my eyesight isn't as good as I once thought it was. Mostly I'm a docile cruiser, and with the speedo on BMWs being out of whack as they're known to be, I'll do an indicated 65 in a 65 and watch people give me what ol' DW called "The Olivia Newton John move."
