Yes, ED. L makes his forward control plates out of aluminum so they won't put any measurable extra weight to the bike. They move everything forward pegs, kickstand, shifter, and brake pedal.
The ones I made for myself leaves the kickstand in the original position.

.I about died when I saw how much pads were.I'll take the ones off the '87 for now.

part # 493-5015, probably spendy
This is a dutch company I think. They have a NY # 877-215-5857 and a IL # 847-504-1400 and they make footboard etc for the LS650.

Or, for near the same cost, you can add a highway bar and a set of offset clamp-on foot pegs.
I batted around getting the control extensions, but am afraid they would move the controls too far forward.
With the highway bar and pegs, I can stretch out when I'm cruising and have the more compact riding position for commuting.
I'd post a picture, but the bloody server keeps telling me that my 128k jpeg is too bloody big to upload!

Everything I say is fully substantiated by my own opinion.

I finally got to get in the wind(literally 35 mph,up to 50 mph gusts)to try out my extensions
.Got about 10 miles out the f&%@#*g headlight disintergrates.Through traffic holding a headlight in one hand, controlling the bike with the other.I did put new brake pads on $32.00 plus tax at the stealership.aaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhhhhhh.
Time to steal the $150.00 one off the Harley
.
But on a good note the extensions kicka$$.
