Horn went dead
03/20/08 at 07:31:53

I was cruising along and saw my wife coming the other way in our other vehicle, a beautiful 97 GEO PRIZM  Smiley, and tried to give her a honk and flash of the lights to say hi and my horn was DEAD.  I push the button but no sound.   Huh Is there a fuse for the horn?  Any suggestions? Anyone else had this problem?  Thanks.

Check connections at the horn.  If good, then probably is handle bar switch.

The Electrical circuit for the horn is:
Power from the fuse (shared with most of the rest of the electrical stuff) via the ign switch.....
  Thru horn....
  Fm Horn to handlebar switch....
Switch closes circuit by grounding out to the handle bars. ...
