Some frames are tight and you got to take the engine out.
Some are a little tight and you can drop the engine in the frame.
There's one bolt in the center that you got to take the cover off to get out. Just remember to put it back with the cover, I didn't. And had to drop the engine in the frame.
While you got it off, check your cam chain and torque your head bolts.
Thanks, I forgot to mention that this 1986 only has about 5,100 miles on it (pretty low milage for the bike) and the engine runs real strong. I will inspect the cam chain but I don't think it will have any problems because of the low milage.
I have customized the following on the bike:
Installed a 2005 Carb with the jet kit and spacer mod.
Installed a Harley Sportster Seat (looks real good)
Installed a Harley Screamin Eagle FXR Turnout Muffler (Sounds Great & Loud)
Installed a K&N Cone Filter
Installed aftermarket smaller Turn Signals that are chrome lenses that flash amber
Installed 2005 Savage Rear Fender Chrome Strips (Now the Ugly brakcet for the backrest seat is gone and the backrest has been removed, it looks real sleek with the Sportster seat)
Thanks for the help and feedback.
