Other S40 changes were seat, turn/running lights and headlight off on crank. Oh and different bar style. Max

Savage's have had 5-speed tranny's for quite awhile too (they were 4-speed in the 80's I believe?) ... no major changes between late-model Savage's and the Boulevard S40 ... only cosmetic tweaks (and the lighting mods Max mentioned)!
