I think that MS Works that comes with most computers might not open the file. Although, ..... you could try by first opening the MS Works spreadsheet program, then attenpt to open or convert it. Sorry, it's been a long time since I play with MS Works.

You can also go to http://www.openoffice.org/ and download their full office suite for free. Alternatively, you could download just their Calc spreadsheet program.
