I lost a rear lense a while back, and plan on useing some factory units from another type of bike, and moving them rearward to make room for large saddlebags that hit the current ones. I intend to use something that the 2000#_+ vehicle behind me can see, or in front for that matter. Most of those small marker lights ppl use for signal lights can hardly be seen, allthough this state does'nt require signal lights, I feel like no matter how cool the bike looks, I can't look cool if I'm a greasy smear on the pavement. I do things that are unsafe(like drinking tap water?), but I still can't read the other drivers mind yet. If you have the earlier Savage, the later S40 signals lights might appeal to you.

These are the S40 signals, and should be a direct fit(someone correct me if I'm wrong). You might get some from a wreckedparts bike for very little bread.

this is what I have. They don't look too big but they are kinda bright but prolly not as bright as the OEM signals. You can see that they have been relocated.

Hey nice lights!!  One question, where did you get the floorboards? - I ride my Savage to work (80 miles round trip) and they look like they would be the cat's axx!!!
