I think how far forward you need controls is a matter of personal comfort.  Your height and handlebar version come into play, I made my own temporary pegs and adjusted them to see what worked best.

 For me I didn't even notice a difference between 4" and 5"

Ed L.,

Hello.  I'm a new suzukisavage member as well as a new suzuki savage owner (2002).  I would like to purchase a set of 5" forward controls.  When you have the time, please contact me via e-mail at crotchett@hotmail.com to let me know how to arrange an order and payment.  Thank you for making these available.

That's fair. Since I'm not really a tall person, or even someone with a long inseam, it's probably best if I do some measurements to see where my feet would comfortably rest.

I don't notice much of a difference either between  a 4 and 5 inch set and I have tried them both. Right now I'm riding with a 4 inch prototype I made from way back.
elric, let me know what size you want, I have sold out the last small batch and need to start another one.

Ed,

I'm trying to decide if 3" or 4" is best for me. I'll see what I can come up with when I get home.

Ed,

I wrote a few days ago stating that I would like to get a set of 5" extensions, but have realized that a 4" set would be better for my height and inseam.  Please put me down for a set of 4" instead.  Thanks.

I'm in the middle of working my bee hives and pulling honey and won't be able to start a batch till next week so it will be about ten days to two weeks before I'll have some ready. Right now I'm making a five for Roborider, and two fours, one for crotchett and one for elricfate. I'll rough out a few more for faster turn around as I make this batch.
Going to try to keep my finger out of the band saw this time  Wink

I'm shutting down production right now due to some feedback. I'm not sure when I'll start back up.

Okay. Well, let me know when you have the ability to start back up and I'll make sure I have the money on hand for a set.

Ed, I would like a set of the forward controls. 4" or 5" will work for me. Please let me know if you have any available, or when you will be starting up production again.
