Riser/Handlebar conversion

My wife has an '06 S40. I picked up a set of original Savage Pullback bars. Once on, with a set of 4" risers I soon found out it was a no go without cable, brake line, and wiring modifications.
After way too many hours of Ebay and internet searches I am hoping to get resource help from others who have done this.
I found info in another forum topic for a brake line resource.
Heres the pic of what she wanted before I dropped the risers.

I had mine made from a company called Motion Pro,they do a nice job.Barnett's also makes longer cables.Any aftermarket shop should be able to get them done for you.I had to send my cables to them to use for patterns you will also have to tell them how much longer they will need to be.They sent them back with the new ones.Don't quote me on this because I've had mine for awhile.They should run around $40-50 for the cables.The front brake line with fittings will run you around $50.00.

Just get shorter risers for the pullbacks; or wide low-rise bars with less pullback for the tall risers. You'll thank me later. I've had more than a dozen riser and handlebar combinations on my Savages; and the one you are aiming at was absolutely the worst handling and most uncomfortable.

That's (kind of) how my 87 was rigged when I bought it. It was the first thing I changed when I got home with it.

Well for those of us who are 6 ft tall or over, high rise/ape hanger handle bars can come in really handy for comfort. Its pretty much the same reason for the forward controls a bunch of us have been either making or buying.

The only thing I had to buy was a new brake line. Everything else was just long enough for me to move around a bit to fit. Not the best looking right now but it's gonna work. Putting my new brake lin on this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes.
