Saddle bag supports
01/10/08 at 13:22:13

I recently purchased a set of LS650 saddle bag supports off ebay.  They are in their original package but one flange for attaching to the fender is at about 45 degrees while all of the other are at 90 degrees.  Their is no splitting of the shiny surface and I was wondering if this is normal for this one flange attachment or should it also be at 90 degrees?

So Thumperclone, my bike is a 1986 Savage, will these work on it? There is only one 45 degree angle on the long tab of one of the supports.

hold them up to the side rails (orient left and right they slant to the back of the bike)your holes should line up withe the rail bolts..the supports mount inside the fender    you may need longer bolts dont knw my bike came with the supports installed..just dont go too long MUST maintain tire clearance...im still not clear on whats at a 45deg on yours...good luck!! let us know how it comes out..btw whats the sellers return policy??
some e bay sellers dont know carp bout the ls  theres a fuel managment controller listed ....for those injected savages!!!

Steve_Rocket mounted his on the outside of the fender.  I may do the same once I get around to it.
