i own a 2001 savage and would like to know if anyone can tell my how to brighten the engine cases. they have become somewhat dull with age.
is there some kind of cleaner or polish that i can use??

They have a clearcoat on them.You would have to strip that,then polish.You can leave them bare metal,but you would have to polish periodically,or once polished you can have them powdercoated with clear. Wink

Dupli-color also makes a clear hi temp engine paint.

 Clean , polish & put on some kind of clear, either powdercoat or high temp .

petc0ck mod, white spacer removed, 150 main jet, 12.5" shocks, 16" turnout muff, oil cooler mod, chain conversion, Tkat brace, external fuel filter, fuel screen removed...
