Rear Running Lights/turn signals

Ever seen anything like this?

The bracket is for the license plate holder. The lenses say Stanley 6-0345 AU40GH SAE D 67 Made In Japan.

My dad had this on his Honda CB350 during the 70's. It has been on a workbench since then. He says that they can either be running lights/brake lights (which I want) or turn signals.

I haven't taken the seat off yet to check the wiring harness... but do you think it will be easy to hook these up? Anything I should know? Any reason why I shouldn't?

sugesst you leave stock signals as they are and run your new lites as run and brake..there are only two wires from each in your picture if they are dual filiment(1157?)bulbs insure your license bracket has a good ground path back to frame..

I'm told they are dual filament, and I want them as running/brake. I have the rear rack and use a sissy bag, so the extra red lights will help with visibility from angles.
My electronics experience is hooking up stereos and computers. This is different. I'm going to need to extend those wires... is that a standard type of plug? Do I need to be shopping for parts at Radio Shack or an auto store?

look like standard connectors, fm portions(think blue is your size bring w/ to insure fit) at auto store may want some shrink tube or liquid tape to waterproof
the splice..under your seat I THINK w/b is brake ckt,& br is marker/run ckt, easy e nuff to trace..chk contunity of license plate bracket to the frame for the neg.path of the ckts...
