Suzuki M50 Headlight on Savage?

I was thinking just how beautiful the M50's headlight
would look on a savage! (99.9% sure it fits perfectly).
BTW: what kind of rear suspension does the M50 have?
"Link-type suspension / truss-style swingarm"

Recently sold 97'savage (change of residence) - looking to buy another - just bought a temp, a great SR125 called 'methadone'

Yeah, just measure the mounting holes for the headlight and see if it is the same as a Savage. The lower triple tree looks about the same. I bet that the wiring is too.
The suspension looks like a classic "monoshock". I don't think it will fit a Savage

That's right, the M50's rear suspension is a hidden monoshock arrangement ... originally used on the Volusia. The old VZ800 Marauder's headlight was a direct swap to the LS, so it's likely that the M50's will too.

I couldn't find a topic for this one, but since we're discussing lighting, I thought maybe some of you Boulevard owners might like this...

I relocated my stock light to the top triple clamp. I like it, it looks old school, plus I use the housing as sort of a panoramic mirror. There is a mounting location on the bottom of the upper triple were the spring wire brake line retainer mounts. The holes are the same as the headlight mount. A flat piece of steel with four holes is all it takes to move it. I will post pics asap but it snowing right now. I didnt think about the M50 headlamp, It looks cool. I might try to find one or one from a honda VTX.
