I decided to to put in a new battery. So is it pretty much just about 5-6 screws, besides the (+)(-), and replace?

Yup!

Not that many screws.  There's also a hose you need to disconnect if you are replacing a stock battery.

Oh, and when you take off the toolkit holder, it helps to remember the orientation of the toolkit locking piece (the thing on the bottom of the toolkit mount with two screws in it).

Good luck!
